Albert Dock Christmas Lights

Albert Dock Magical Light Display
1 December 2017 - 1 January 2018
Price: FREE / 5pm – 10pm
Peel away the Christmas wrapping, and discover the magic of Albert Dock Liverpool this festive season. Each evening throughout December, visitors can enjoy a wonderfully festive magical light display. The Dr Martin Luther King Jr building; situated near the entrance of Albert Dock, will become the canvas for an intricate light projection centred around the theme of “Unwrapping Christmas on Albert Dock”. Incorporating origami and hand-crafted paper designs in the style of a beautiful pop-up book.- we will captivate your imagination and whisk you away on a fantastical journey of storytelling through an immersive lighting experience.

Light display at The Albert Dock

The projection is the cherry on a very big Christmas cake at Albert Dock this festive season. From taking in Tate Liverpool’s unmissable Roy Lichtenstein in Focus exhibition and the fascinating and free exhibits at Merseyside Maritime Museum and International Slavery Museum, to the colourful displays at the Beatles Story, and endless fun and games at our popular family entertainment centre, Mattel Play! Liverpool; from delicious dinners and Christmas parties with a twinkly view at one the Dock’s world-class restaurants, to an eclectic array of independent stores and coffee shops to explore; the Dock has all the ingredients for a magical day or evening out for all the family this Christmas.

Tour of Peaky Blinders filming locations - 8 hours
Sunday 22 April 2018
Albert Dock Liverpool
Full day tour of Peaky Blinders filming locations in Liverpool, Wirral and Cheshire. This is THE tour for the ultimate Peaky Blinders fan. For 8 hours on our coach/minibus we will visit filming locations not just in Liverpool and on the Wirral but also in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Together we will trace the rise of Thomas Shelby Esq. from the street that stands in for the squalid back streets of “Small Heath” where he grew up, to his stately home, symbol of his ascension. We shall view around 15 filming locations during this tour including an interior visit of Tommy’s stately pile.

I am a local resident, huge Peaky Blinders fan and professional, insured Blue Badge Guide. I run the largest unofficial Peaky Blinders Twitter account and have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching the tour.

As seen in the Liverpool Echo, Chester Chronicle, Birmingham Mail, Southport Visiter, Warrington Guardian and on Made In Liverpool TV, Radio Merseyside and Joe.co.uk
