Public Health In Liverpool - Guided Walk

14 June 2010
2010 is officially Liverpool's Year of Health and Well-Being and to celebrate it, why not join us on this guided walk? Liverpool pioneered many of the public health initiatives we take for granted today. We learn about some of the city's firsts in health (country's first blind school, first child protection society, world's first animal welfare association are just a few) and the people who pioneered public health from Ronald Ross to Dr Duncan to William Rathbone.
Meet outside the School of Tropical Medicine, Pembroke Place (off London Rd) at 11am.
Cost £4 per person, payable at start of walk.
