56-58 Stanley Street stands in Liverpool vibrant down town area. The building was erected back in 1884 and was originally used as a tea warehouse; it was later converted for use as a print works and in use until 1965. Since then, it has had a variety of uses the lower floor became a focal point for Liverpool’s Punk and new wave scene. The 1st floor housed acclaimed local band OMD’s recording studio in the early 80’s. Today it has had a £5 Million restoration to it’s former glory which will offers an exciting hotel.
Each floor has it’s own distinctive identity but the philosophy has been the same throughout the building. Original elegance has been restored and preserved; the unique 300-year old American beams have been exposed to highlight this fantastic period building. High quality materials have been used throughout to create spaces that are contemporary and comfortable. Style is important but quality, comfort and service are even more so, which is why a great deal of care has been taken in finding the very best people to help run Print.
The Print Hotel’s top floors offer four loft suites situated below two penthouse apartments that are suitable for meetings and entertaining as well as offering spacious and stylish city centre accommodation. They have been created using the finest materials and with a sharp eye on detail, from luxurious bathrooms, to the stunning custom-made furniture to the exposed beams of the loft suites and the dramatic high ceiling penthouse spaces with their overlooking mezzanine floors.
CYAN takes up the whole of the second floor. A private members club, the floors bar and central walls are finished in reclaimed teak, the bespoke leather furniture has been specially designed with comfort in mind, and the atmosphere will be one of relaxed chic. This will be a place to work, play, meet friends and colleagues or simply use as a relaxing haven from the city centre bustle.
PRINT 1st Floor brassiere boasts large fumed oak floorboards, custom-built velvet furnishings and an open kitchen/bar. With a 2am drinks licence, this should become a popular venue for more sophisticated socializing as the innovative tables can be lowered if diners wish to continue their evening in a more relaxing lounge-like atmosphere. The PRINT Bar on the ground floor is home to reception area and a cafe/bar. It is a grand space with dramatic glass entrances on Stanley Street and Rainford Gardens, plus a more private mezzanine area.
