Merseyside Dance Initiative Introduce New Dance Classes to get the region Moving and Grooving.
Merseyside Dance Initiative (MDI) always has a primary ambition to get the people of Merseyside moving and grooving. From Monday 7th September 2009 they return after a summer break with a full range of dance classes and introduce new Saturday slots for children to add to their unprecedented list.

As well as inspiring people to dance through their classes, they also host a series of annual dance festivals and nurture and support dancers/artists from all over the region.

As part of their Hope Street classes they offer a unique opportunity to learn the moves of dance techniques from all around the world with Bollywood, African, Capoeira and Salsa classes taught by experienced and qualified teachers. They also offer dance to all ages ranging from Parents and Toddlers classes through to an over 50’s class, many attendees consider the classes as an important part of their health and fitness regime. 17.00-18.00: Beginners Break Dance (10 years and over)
18.00-19.00: Bollywood
19.00-20.00: Street Dance
20.00-21.00: Street Dance

Tuesday
17.30-19.00: Open Contemporary
17.30-19.00: IMIC (Integrated dance and movement class for adults with learning difficulties)
19.00-20.00: Salsa
20.00-21.30: Beginners Hip Hop

Wednesday
11.00-12.30: 50 Moves
16.30-17.30: African Youth Dance (Junior Session)
18.00-19.00: African (Adult)
19.00-20.00: Dance Aerobics
20.00-22.00: Capoeira (External Organisation)

Thursday
11.00-12.00: Beginners Tap
17.00-18.00: Ballet
18.00-19.30: Advanced Contemporary
19.30-21.00: Advanced Hip Hop

Friday
9.30-11.00: Professional Level
16.30-18.00: African Youth Dance (Senior Session)

Saturday
10.00-11.00: Creative & Street Dance (4-7 year olds)
11.00-12.00: Hip Hop (8-12 year olds)
