Liverpool Discovers is a landmark public art event telling the remarkable story of Liverpool – its great and lesser-known history, and current day stories - through a quirky, fun and informative trail of outdoor art installations by some of the UK’s most exciting public artists.
Liverpool, Wirral and St. Helens will host 13 exceptional installations covering 10 themes that tell the city’s fascinating story in a new and exciting way. In 2010, people of Liverpool were invited to send in their personal ‘nuggets’ of secret knowledge that directly informed the event.
Liverpool's first illustrated map will guide residents and tourists around the free trail, helping visitors discovers new and lesser known areas of Liverpool , Wirral and St Helens. Look out for it!
