Liverpool Chester Liverpool Bike Ride
Sunday 1 July 2018
The Liverpool-Chester-Liverpool bike ride has courses aimed at all age groups and all cycling abilities. Each participant can choose their own route ranging from a Five Miles Family Tunnel to the 100 Mile Liverpool Challenge, with each route taking in some of the North West’s top attractions and picturesque landscapes.
Event organisers are expecting that 2018 will be the biggest yet with more than 4,000 people expected to take part. Local children’s hospice, Claire House, returns as the chosen charity.
Mandy Parkinson at Pennine Events, said: “If anyone is looking for an excuse to dust off your bike and get back in the saddle then this is the time to do it. Cycling is such a fantastic sport to take part in. Not only is it a great form of exercise but also very sociable too and a great way of meeting new friends. We look forward to welcoming all new and returning cyclists.”
Places for the event are already being booked so to avoid disappointment, organisers are advising people to sign up now. (Full info at www.liverpoolchesterliverpool.com)
