They fancy themselves as a cross between Thelma and Louise and Shirley Valentine. Pam thinks she is Marilyn Monroe and Ann is a hypochondriac, and nothing goes right for them. The show has been described as Real Liverpool humour, hysterical and has developed a bit of a following. Some people have been back three and four times to see it. Warning: This act could make you wet yourself About Gypsy Theatre Company Lesley Hughes and Veronica Kelly are two comedy actresses who have been in the business for more years than they like to admit. They have appeared in many productions in and around Liverpool. Undercover has taken them twice to the Edinburgh festival, The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn and The Lantern Theatre, Liverpool as well as many fringe venues around the city. The girls portray these hilarious but loveable characters with polish and charm and as noted by Three Weeks review on their Edinburgh fringe performance “they have a strong hold on the infectious one liners.” Its also been said that their show is a lesson in comic timing. No gratuitous swearing, but lots of innuendo and ménage de trois to make up for it. (Oh sorry that should read double entendre, not Ménage de trois, there are only two of them!) Undercover Blondde Wednesday 18th- Saturday 21st July 7.30pm Starring; Veronica Kelly & Lesley Hughes Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30 pm start Tickets are £10 / £8 concessions
