Meet Outside Mersey Ferry Terminus, Pier Head
A leisurely stroll looking at just some of the other Liver Birds in Liverpool and learning about the buildings on which they are to be found. The Liver Birds on the Liver Building may be the biggest in the city but they are just the tip of a feathery iceberg! Various versions are to be found engraved on buildings, as sculptures, in mosaics and even on the city’s rubbish bins. Together, we will hunt out some of these birds and also consider its origins
