Laughterhouse Comedy

FEBRUARY 2012 COMEDY UPDATE

Howl with laughter this February with Laughterhouse Comedy!

This February, the good folk at Laughterhouse Comedy have a side-splitting array of comedy talent gracing their stages for your entertainment.

Our regular MCs, Neil Fitzmaurice (The Office, Phoenix Nights and Peep Show), Ste Porter and Chris Cairns will present the nights with their own unique styles, introducing the top comedians on the circuit today including Andy Askins, Phil Butler and Steve Royle and many more!

Regular headliner at the Comedy Store and all-round funny guy, Steve Royle will be appearing at both the Slaughterhouse and the Slug and Lettuce on 10th and 11th February combining both disciplines of comedy and juggling as only he can.

International comedy king, Richard Morton will also be showcasing his unique brand on comedy songs on the 17th and 18th February. He has a formidable reputation as a live act and has completed several major UK tours supporting some of the biggest comedians around including Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Eddie Izzard and Phil Jupitus.

Paul Tonkinson, the self-confessed professional northerner will grace the stage on Thursday, 23rd February. Having made his name as host of The Sunday Show, he took an even bigger step into the limelight when he replaced Johnny Vaughan briefly on The Big Breakfast. This veteran comedy talent has been in the game a long time and his act will not disappoint.

On Thursday 2nd February Laughterhouse has a special treat in the shape of Mike Gunn and Sean Collins with their unique double-headline show, Still On The Roadshow. Following their performances on BBC Ones Michael McIntyres Comedy Roadshow, these esteemed performers are taking to the road to wow audience across the UK with killer punch line and distinctive powerhouse routines. Still On The Roadshow features extended solo sets from two of the most talented headliners around and culminates with an improvised double-act in which they pitch their comedy talents head-to-head in a dynamic grand finale. Definitely not to be missed!

With a choice of Standard and Premier Tickets and two-or three-course meals, you can really make a night of it with Laughterhouse at some of Liverpools top comedy venues. All this and much, much more in Februarys superb comedy line up! Hosted at the famous Slaughterhouse on Fenwick Street and The Slug and Lettuce on North John Street Septembers comedy nights include a string of highlights and MCs to provide jokes-a-plenty.
