Tales From Haunted Liverpool

An evening of chilling dramatic storytelling delivered through readings and theatrical performance is planned for St. George’s Concert Room on Wednesday 25th November 2009. Tom Slemen’s famous ‘Haunted Liverpool’ books will come to life in an atmospheric re-telling of these chilling tales, in the first of a series of dramatic readings and brilliant live performances. Tales from Haunted Liverpool will be performed by some of Liverpool’s best loved actors who will take you on a journey into Liverpool's dark supernatural world bringing the characters of past and present to life.
The first readings of Tales from Haunted Liverpool will be performed by local favourites Eithne Browne (Brick-up the Mersey Tunnels, Tartuffe and Brookside) Brian Dodd (Blood Wedding, Wall Talks and 08 Peoples Opening) and Stephen Fletcher (Stags and Hens, Erics and Hamlet).
Tom Slemen has written 9 books of ‘Haunted Liverpool’ all of which contains many spine tingling tales of Liverpool past and present, these books have regularly been number 1 in the Liverpool best-selling book charts. Tom Slemen also has very popular columns in the Liverpool Echo and Lifestyle Monthly magazines and has released a new book of Wirral haunted tales.
