Liverpool Music Week Founder/Director comments:
“This was the biggest and best festival to date and proves that Liverpool Music Week is still the city’s favourite new music and the UK’s most loved winter festival. The public response to our incredibly eclectic programme was immense and we want to thank all the gig-goers, the artists, the venues, and the organisers who took part in this year’s showpiece. In particular we’d like to thank our main partners MTV, EDC and the Liverpool Culture Company, without whom we could not have fulfilled our huge ambitions for this year’s festival. Roll on 2009!”
“We were truly excited to be involved in MTV Liverpool Music Week”, explained Thomas Grote, President Esprit Brand. “This sponsorship marks the increasing link between fashion and music in the lifestyle of young consumers. Today, young people are hugely influenced by music and want to express this in the way they dress. Additionally, the UK is a highly important key market for edc and MTV Liverpool Music Week gave us the great opportunity to introduce edc to a wider audience locally. “
Plans are already in place for next years Liverpool Music Week festival which is set to return in November.
