Liverpool Christmas MarketsHarvey Nichols Foodmarket Pop Up Shop ![]() Christmas Market 24 November – 22 December 2011 Lord Street, Church Street, Whitechapel Travel the world this Christmas on just one street! Featuring more than 50 of the finest craft and food stalls from across five continents, Liverpool’s new and improved Christmas Market is offering treats from as far as China and South America. Plus new for 2011 will be a traditional German glühwein bar in the shadow of the main Christmas tree on Church Street. Also look out for the Moroccan mini-village near Metquarter. Christmas Lights Switch On 9 November 2011 – 6pm: City Centre Liverpool will be lit up like never before this Christmas. City Central BID, Liverpool One, City Council and Commercial District BID have all come together for the first time to deliver the city’s biggest festive light display. The lights, made by people with varying disabilities, will extend into new parts of the city centre with new effects such as 3D chandeliers and 3D baubles. Traditional entertainment from live reindeer in Queen Square to the Salvation Army band at the Church Street tree will begin in December.
