The Ship & Mitre
Starting on Wednesday 25th May and running until Sunday 30th May the Ship and mitre will be dedicating five full days to showcasing the very best German beer has to offer. Over this period we will be offering our regular range of 40 bottles as well as an amazing 29 additional bottles; which can be purchased solely at the Ship and Mitre. This coupled with the introduction of our very own branded lager and wheat beer brewed exclusively for us, all the way from the German city of Bamberg, best known for its unique smoked beer. Bamberg is in the German region of Upper Franconia, which is home to the 15 distinctive breweries which have provided us with the other 27 exciting bottles on offer.
We have also even been lucky enough that Zehendner brewery in Burgebrach, Bamberg have supplied us with our very own branded Ship & Mitre lager and wheat beer, both of which will also be available on draught during the Beer Festival. These two beers brewed exclusively for us mean you will be one of very few that ever gets to taste the signature beers of our iconic free house, two beers that embody the sentiment of everything we stand for here at the Ship & Mitre, fantastic ale.
