Liz McClarnon to fashion a Sport Relief warm up walk in Liverpool
13th March – Sefton Park 11am

Celebrity Masterchef winner, Liz McClarnon will be rising to the Challenge for Sport Relief and calling on Liverpool’s loveliest to join her in a one off fashion themed warm up walk for Sport Relief at Sefton Park on Saturday 13th March.

The charity event will be a chance for fashion lovers across the North West to strut their stuff, as Liz and friends are encouraging people to wear their official Sport Relief T-shirt for a warm up stroll around the park – ahead of the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile, taking place in Liverpool and across the country on 21st March.

The range of T-shirts has been specially designed by the Beckham family and is available exclusively online and in store at Sainsbury’s and TK Maxx.

All those with a flare for fashion will be encouraged to take a tip from Kelly Brook (see pic) and customise their T-shirts for the chance to win the very one worn by Kelly on the shoot.

Liz McClarnon is looking forward to returning to her home turf and judging some of the best styles on the day “I absolutely love the T-shirts and can’t think of a better way for people to get involved. Stephen Lea, manager of Sainsbury’s at Rice Lane, is encouraging all customers and staff to get down to Sefton Park for the Sport Relief warm-up. He said: “Liverpool is leading the way in rising to the Sport Relief challenge: this is a brilliant event for us all to get involved with and in store we’ve been talking about it non-stop. I hope to see plenty of our customers there on the day supporting this fantastic cause.”

The Fashion themed warm up will take place on 13th March from 11:00am in Sefton Park (near to the junction of Aigburth Drive and Mossley Hill Drive at the boating lake).


Adult T-shirts are priced at £9.99 with at least £5 going to Sport Relief. Children’s T-shirts are also available exclusively in-store and online at Sainsbury’s www.sainsburys.co.uk, TK Maxx www.tkmaxx.com and www.sportrelief.com
