Manchester to Liverpool Bike Ride for the NSPCC

The NSPCC is calling on people to get on their bikes and take to the open road for this years Manchester to Liverpool bike ride for the children's charity. The 37 mike ride will take place on Sunday 29 May and begin from Salford Watersports Centre from between 8am - 10pm. Riders will follow a flat mostly traffic free route through Manchester via Old Trafford and join the Trans-Pennine Trial through to Otterspool Park in Liverpool.
Tickets for the ride are £16 per adult and £8 for children under 16. Participants must be over 8 years of age. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18 and wear a helmet.

If you live in Liverpool, a coach service will run once in the morning from Liverpool to Manchester, and then at intervals throughout the afternoon to take riders back after the ride. Booking is recommended to guarantee a seat and the cost is £23 for one rider and a bike.
