Hudbu Festival organisers are preparing to open the gate in its inaugural year with a whole host of headline acts, bands, DJs and producers biting at the bit to showcase their collective talent, right here in the North West!
From international legends on the house scene like Davide Squillace, Shlomi Aber, Guy Gerber & Reboot, to underground dubstep & D’n’B big hitters Boy Better Know, Joy Orbison, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad. With a liberal sprinkling of everything in-between including live performances from Labrinth with this summer’s hottest tune “Let The Sunshine” alongside truly femme-fatale performances from industry lights such as Uffie & Yasmin whos currently causing a storm in the UK underground scene with singles such as “On My Own” & “Finish Line” both attracting over 1.5 million views each on YouTube alone…
The two day event will be hosted at the Wirral Rugby Club, just off junction 4 of the M53, from the 23rd-25th September 2011. Showcasing alongside international talent will of course be a handpicked selection of up & coming local producers, DJ’s, bands and live acts that we’ve painstakingly pieced together to provide an aural range to please the most discerning audiophile, ranging from full on big room house or underground UK grime to the other end of the spectrum where mo-town to space disco & indie to reggae maybe found, you’ll find something to titillate your senses, we almost guarantee it!
"We wanted to showcase some of our friends alongside some of our heros, so thats what we set out to do" says festival organiser Jai Byron, better known around the Liverpool scene as JaiB!... "It's been a real labour of love for around 2 and a half years now, but I reckon it'll pay off, we've scored some amazing live acts and bands for our first event..."
With 3 main arenas all undercover, come rain or shine the party will continue on regardless, but we are secretly praying for some good old Indian Summer Sun! Plus not forgetting an additional VIP hospitality arena with exclusive showcase sets from Europe’s hottest dance floors all contained within a giant inflatable colour changing cube… Seriously! And of course we can’t mention a VIP enclosure without mentioning the all important luxury loos!

Campers will be welcomed onsite from 2pm on Friday 23rd September and as a thanks we’re hosting a campers only party on Sunday 25th featuring live bands such as Black Lips, Cloud Control, Does It Offend You...Yeah? & LosCampesinos! All of which are included in the camping ticket which is available now from £119 per person.
VIP & Standard day tickets are available for the Saturday event and start at £55 per person.
