A Great Long Comedy Weekend

22 - 24 July 2010
The Slaughterhouse And Lenny's Smoke & Grill Bar
It will be very busy week ahead for the Laughterhouse, as it is comedy business as usual on at the Slaughterhouse and Lenny’s Bar, and the Laughterhouse team prepares for their Comedy road trip to Europe’s biggest open air theatre in Scarborough!
Our comedy weekend starts early on Thursday with a 2 act live show with former City Life Comedian of the Year Seymour Mace, and multi talented and multi-awarded comedian, radio presenter and actor Justin Moorhouse, also known as “Young Kenny” in the hugely successful Phoenix Nights. Justin is now one of the most sought-after and prominent acts in the English comedy circuit and it will definitely be a show not to be missed!
The weekend will follow on a high, with resident MC s Ste Porter and former Liverpool, Comedian of the Year Chris Cairns hosting the show on Friday and Saturday , introducing “one of the best kept secret of the comedy scene”, New Zealander Al Pitchard- joined by he who has become the new face of Scouse comedy – “Nige”, alter ego of Keith Carter.
This fabulous three day live comedy marathon will leave you longing for more- remember that the Laughterhouse biggest show to date in Scarborough Open Air Theatre is coming up on the 30th of July and it will be an event of epic proportions- the Theatre, which is the biggest open theatre, can hold up to 6.500 people! You can find all the information on the amazing line-up at Scarborough together with all our other events, comedy clips and much more on the brand new Laughterhouse website www.laughterhousecomedy.com.
Tickets for this weekend show are going fast- we usually sell out so make sure you book yours in time. All weekend shows start at 8.00pm prompt, but get there by 7.30pm! Don’t worry if all tickets sell out online- we always retain some on the door so if you come down there early you can still get in and enjoy the shows!
